Siena has unveiled its first social camper van, a mobile assistance unit designed to support vulnerable populations. The vehicle, presented in the Giardini di Lizza, will operate across municipalities in the Siena district, offering first aid, counseling, administrative support, and access to toilets and showers.
The project is a collaboration between the Siena Health Society (SdS Senese), the Caritas foundation (Fondazione Caritas di Siena e Montepulciano), and the Pangea social cooperative. Funding comes from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).
