In 1999, three Italian brothers and their friend set out on an extraordinary voyage: they crossed the Atlantic Ocean in two cars converted into floating campers. The expedition started from the island of La Palma and covered about 4,700 kilometers in 119 days, reaching Martinique.
The journey was undertaken to fulfill the dream of their dying father, who had previously attempted a similar crossing but was unable to due to illness. According to the participants, they lived adrift for nearly four months to say goodbye to their father.
