The city of Zlín has introduced new parking restrictions in the largest housing estate Jižní Svahy. Caravans and camper trailers are completely banned from parking in this area. For vans longer than 5 meters, designated spaces are provided at Okružní street and under the first segment; starting May 4, the regime at the Torzo lot changes — caravans and special vehicles are prohibited, but long vans are allowed. The measures aim to curb illegal parking, which residents have repeatedly complained about; earlier similar restrictions were announced for the P+R Příluky lot.
