In Ciutat Jardí (Palma), owners of motorhomes and campervans are renting them out by the day as an alternative to hotels, sparking protests from local residents. Despite the city council's threat of fines since mid-May, the number of vehicles has not decreased, and police patrols, according to residents, focus on the beach rather than parking. Residents complain about occupied parking spaces, blocked sea views, and frequent tenant turnover, though no issues with dirt or noise have been reported.
