The ACO Mallorca motorhome association has accused Palma city council spokesperson Mercedes Celeste of discrimination after she stated there is no space for such vehicles on the island. Association president Javier Fuster noted that an existing mobility ordinance, drafted with the council, requires vehicles to move every 10 days but is being ignored. If the council does not comply, the group threatens to mobilize 500–600 motorhomes to block traffic during peak hours.
