Kocaeli introduces paid parking for caravans with first 10 hours free

Options include a diesel heater, air conditioning, solar panels and an extra bunk for a third passenger. Priced at 199,000 Turkish liras (under $5,000 at Autoevolution's reference rate), it is sold only in Turkey.

Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism has designated seven public beaches in Antalya for camping with tents and caravans. The beaches are located in the districts of Kemer, Konyaalti, Manavgat, Serik and Muratpasa. Visitors are advised to contact the facilities for current conditions and fees.

The Pamukkale municipality has begun work on a 4,000 sq m recreation area and a 2,000 sq m camp and caravan site facing the UNESCO World Heritage site. The camp site will have capacity for 5 caravans and 14 motorhomes. Mayor Ali Rıza Ertemur said the projects are expected to boost tourism in the region.
