The High Court granted an emergency injunction at the request of South Cambridgeshire District Council to stop suspected unauthorised development on Green Belt land west of Moor Drove, Cottenham/Histon. Justice Mansfield ruled that delay could have allowed the rapid establishment of a caravan site, banning entry, occupation, construction, and bringing caravans or mobile homes onto the land. A follow-up hearing is scheduled for 3 June 2026 at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
