French company R Truck-France has unveiled the Kodiak 6x6, an expedition motorhome built on a Renault Trucks K-series chassis with permanent six-wheel drive. The vehicle measures 11 m long, 2.55 m wide and 3.99 m high, with a maximum permissible mass of 26 tonnes. Power comes from a 13-litre six-cylinder turbodiesel producing 324 kW (440 hp) and 2,500 Nm of torque, paired with a 12-speed automated gearbox. The 7.55 m living area offers about 18 sq m with four berths, a separate bedroom, and a kitchen equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Two tanks with a combined capacity of 630 litres give a theoretical range of up to 2,500 km, while average fuel consumption is quoted at around 25 litres per 100 km. Prices start at approximately €700,000 for the Essential version and reach at least €1.2 million for the Premium trim.
