In Montechiarugolo, 200 residents signed a petition to the mayor against a 20-pitch motorhome area on Via 4 Ottobre, the site of the town's only structured public car park. The project includes an automated facility with a wastewater disposal point and a 50-square-metre container with showers and toilets 10 metres from an apartment building. According to the petition, the existing 80-space car park would lose half its spaces, and the total project cost is almost 300,000 euros, including a ministerial grant of about 120,000 euros.
