In Narni, Italy, a dispute has erupted over the future camper area in Montoro. The municipality has started implementing the parking project, but residents of the frazione have filed an appeal with the regional administrative court (TAR) seeking to annul the decision. The appeal challenges the refusal to amend the project compared to the version approved by the municipality.
The management of the 38-space area will be handled by Rome-based Pleinarea Group, which will pay 14,000 euros per year. The local cooperative 'Parco del Nera', which came third, offered a higher price, which, according to residents, prevented it from strengthening its position.
