Lawson has announced it will rent out part of its car parks for customers sleeping overnight in camper vans and other vehicles. The service starts on 30 October at 11 stores in Saga, Nagasaki and Oita prefectures. Booking is required via a dedicated website, with one vehicle per store per day. Use is from 3pm to 10am the following day, and the fee is 2500–3000 yen per session.
