The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) presented its annual Park of the Year and Glamping Resort of the Year awards on April 21 during its Spring Meeting and Convention at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. The Glamping Resort of the Year award went to Camp Quitcherbichin in Lake Bridgeport, which opened over Labor Day and features 48 RV sites, two 1977 Airstreamⓘ trailers, covered wagons, cabins, and 10 futuristic vessels. The Small Park of the Year award (under 125 sites) was given to River’s Edge Campground in Johnson City, a 57-site park opened in May 2024.
