Sinan County in South Jeolla Province is running a pilot programme called Seomka from 31 October to 28 December, renting camper vans for travel and overnight stays on its islands. Users collect and return the vehicles near Mokpo Station; the vans are equipped with camping tables and cooking equipment. Weekday users receive a 10–30% discount on KTX high-speed rail tickets. Bookings can be made online or by phone. The Yesul Seom foundation will analyse user satisfaction and operational data from the pilot to prepare a permanent service in 2027.
