On June 28, the Paihu auto sports camping opened in Longzhou Park, Paihu Resort (Xiantao, Hubei Province). Over 20 RVs from Wuhan and other cities gathered for the opening.
The camping is equipped with 59 RV sites, including spaces for large vehicles and towable trailers, each with independent water and electricity hookups. Visitors combine accommodation, dining, and watching dragon boat races.
Authorities plan to develop a sports-tourism cluster. A second camping in Mitangyucun is scheduled to open by the end of August.
