Santa Barbara authorities are considering allowing paid overnight RV parking near the beach as a new revenue source. The proposed location is Palm Park east of Stearns Wharf, where restriping could create approximately 26 spaces. Implementing the plan would require a municipal code change and a permit from the California Coastal Commission.
