The municipality of Vicoforte has published a tender for the concession to manage a new camper stop area, whose construction is nearing completion. Located near the sports facilities, the site will feature 19 pitches, a sanitary block with toilets, showers and washbasins, waste dumping zones, electric columns, Wi-Fi, video surveillance and automated access. The area will be fully automated, with vending machines and a remote information point.
Construction began several years ago; in 2024 a completion project worth over 260,000 euros was approved, and at the end of 2025 co-financing was received from the Ministry of Tourism. The concession runs for 10 years, and bids are accepted until August 8.
