The Piedmont region will create or renovate 41 camper stop areas using €1.8 million in national funds. The funding provides non-repayable grants covering 80% of costs, up to €60,000 for new areas and €30,000 for upgrades. This brings the total number of new or redeveloped camper areas in the region to 109.
