Stichting on Wheels is holding an open day on Saturday 7 November from 11:00 to 16:00 at De Vierde Hoeve 51 in Maasdijk. Visitors can view wheelchair-accessible campers and other adapted vehicles from the foundation. The campers feature a platform lift for entry, a ceiling hoist for transfers and a height-adjustable bed, and allow a wheelchair user to sit next to the driver. A motorcycle with a wheelchair sidecar will also be on display; the foundation, which has operated for nearly 30 years with volunteers, rents out accessible campers, holiday chalets, a tour boat in Westland, the motorcycle-sidecar and wheelchair buses.
