New motorhome site opens in Fröndenberg

The Pincamp portal has ranked Europe's most popular campsites. 86 of the top 100 are in Germany, Croatia and Italy, with Germany leading at 30 sites. Most of Germany's top-10 campsites are in the north; the best in Bavaria is Campingplatz Pilsensee (10th in Germany), located 40 km from Munich. Also in the top 20 are Kur- und Feriencamping Holmernhof Dreiquellenbad (14th) and Campingplatz Alpenblick (17th).

Journalists tested the 7.5-meter Carado T457 Edition 27 motorhome. It is 2.32 meters wide and 2.93 meters high. The model features a shower, a double bed, and a large trunk. Due to its size, the vehicle is difficult to park in residential areas.

ADAC ends its fuel discount partnership with Shell on December 31, 2026. Starting September 1, 2026, Esso becomes the new partner, offering 2 cents per liter until October 15, then 1 cent. Until the end of 2026, discounts apply at both Shell and Esso, as well as Enilive. To get the discount, members just show their ADAC card.
