Westmorland and Furness Council has received plans to extend Flusco Wood Holiday Park near Penrith with 32 additional holiday lodges. The application, submitted on behalf of Messrs G, R and C Chamberlain, covers 1.96 hectares of agricultural land. The new single-storey, caravan-style lodges will have timber cladding, matching existing units. The applicant states the extension will not significantly increase traffic and will use the existing access road. The site adjoins land already approved for a previous extension.
