Lakeside overnight parking for motorhomes opens at SUWA Glass no Sato

An RV park for overnight stays in motorhomes has opened at SUWA Glass no Sato in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture. Located about five minutes from the Suwa-ko Smart Interchange, the site offers five pitches measuring 10 m by 3.5 m with power, water, and trash bins; rates start at 5,500 yen per vehicle. Check-in is from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. The project was developed in partnership with the Japan RV Association, with reservations accepted from early August. In August, out-of-prefecture visitors filled the park on holidays, and guests also used the museum, shop, and cafe. The operator is considering a mini dog run and further integration with the complex.
