Two new RV parks have opened in Japan for camper and motorhome travelers.
In Hokkaido, Niikappu city, the "RVパーク にいかっぷ" park opened on the grounds of a hotel with a natural hot spring. The park accommodates 5 vehicles, with parking from 3000 yen per night. Guests can use an open-air bath with sunset views, plus facilities: 24-hour restroom, 100V outlets, and free trash disposal. Pets are allowed.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, Kumage district, "RV Park × Shio-katsu HARBOR" opened, offering barrel sauna rentals with views of the Seto Inland Sea islands. The park is fully rentable by one group for privacy, targeting RV and camper travelers seeking a combination of parking, sauna, and sea views.
