A project to develop caravan and camping tourism has started in the Çavdarhisar district of Kütahya province. The municipality leased a plot with a view of the reservoir from the General Directorate of Nature Protection and National Parks for a period of 20 years.
The site already has infrastructure including electricity, water, toilets and showers. Plans include areas for caravans and tents, as well as picnic zones. The project aims to attract tourists and boost nature tourism. According to one source, additional funding is required to complete the project.
