At the ALTAÏR conference, the documentary film 'Morocco: Vanlife Version' by Marc Temmerman was announced. Shot in 2025, the film follows a campervan journey from Belgium through Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Fez, Azrou, the Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate, Taliouine, Tafraoute, Imsouane, Essaouira, and the Sahara to Dakhla. The 58-minute film highlights contrasts between traditional and modern Morocco.

French retirees Thérèse-Marie and Gilles spend several months each year in Morocco in their motorhome. Their combined pension is 2,000 euros per month. According to TF1, they drove 2,800 km in 29 hours from Brest to the Agadir region. They spent 403 euros on fuel over the year at about 1 euro per litre. A meeting of the regional committee for the national camping program was held in Smara on June 10, 2026. A new camping and summer resort center was announced in the commune of Sidi Ahmed Laaroussi. The meeting focused on evaluating the past season and preparing for the 2026 summer season.

Yasin Buras drove 30,000 km in a 2013 Hymer Starline motorhome across Africa over 160 days. The route included Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, and Senegal. He faced poor roads, sandstorms, and challenging border crossings but noted feeling safer in Africa than in Europe.
