In Sweden, on Lake Furen, entrepreneur Larz Teke turned a forest plot into the Skeda Strand motorhome stopover, attracting guests from across Europe. The site now offers about 40 electric hookups and separate 'hermit' spots in the woods for seclusion. Teke notes that bureaucracy, not lack of funding, is the main obstacle for such projects.
