Two new camper areas have opened in Italy's Piedmont region. In Dogliani, the facility is fully funded by the Piedmont region as part of a sustainable tourism strategy. Mayor Claudio Raviola and regional councilor Paolo Bongioanni attended the opening ceremony.
In Vicoforte, Mayor Gian Pietro Gasco called the new municipal camper area near the sports complex a strategic opportunity for tourism. The project, costing over 260 thousand euros (co-financed by Italy's tourism ministry since late 2025), includes 19 automated pitches, toilets, showers, laundry, electric columns, video surveillance, and Wi-Fi. The management concession runs for 10 years, with applications accepted until August 8.
