Viterbo approves rates for new motorhome parking area

Work has started on a new motorhome area in the Italian town of Venasca. The site on Via F.lli Lavalle will cover 4,733 square meters and have a final capacity of 16 parking spaces.

The CI and Roller Team brands have announced three limited edition motorhome series with enhanced standard equipment. The CI Spring Edition series includes the compact Horon Fit 94 and the Horon 88 XT and 67 XT models on Ford Transit chassis, with prices starting at €67,990. The Roller Team Power Edition features the Zefiro 266 TL, 287 TL models and the Livingstone 2 van based on the Fiat Ducato, priced between €60,990 and €79,990.

Specialized GPS navigators for motorhomes and travel trailers calculate routes based on the vehicle's dimensions and weight. Garmin and TomTom offer devices with pre-installed maps, toll avoidance features, and campsite search. Prices start at 279 euros for the TomTom GO Camper Tour and 389.99 euros for the Garmin CamperCam 795.

A caravan caught fire on the morning of Sunday, March 8 at the Clusone Pineta campsite. Two people, aged 65 and 47, were hospitalized with smoke inhalation. Firefighters and Carabinieri responded to extinguish the blaze and investigate the incident's cause.

On Saturday, August 23, a pickup truck towing a caravan became stuck in the water at the confluence of the Fella and Tagliamento rivers in the municipality of Venzone. Two German nationals, a father and daughter, exited the vehicle on their own and were unharmed. Firefighters from Tolmezzo began an operation to recover the stuck vehicles.

Italian manufacturer Mobilvetta has updated its premium K-Yacht Tekno Line motorhome series for 2026. The range includes three models based on the Fiat Ducato, such as the 7.5-meter-long K-Yacht Tekno Line 86. The motorhomes feature an AL-KO lowered chassis, various sleeping area layouts, and increased payload capacity.
