The ACV automobile club has published a checklist for preparing motorhomes for the first trip after winter storage. Recommendations include checking tires, brakes, fluids, the gas system, seals, and onboard electronics, as well as controlling weight and verifying the validity of the technical inspection.
For motorhomes with gas equipment, a mandatory biennial inspection of gas installations has been in effect since June 19, 2025. For motorhomes with a trailer, the coupling device and permissible load must also be checked.
