A Brazilian family plans to transport a relative in a vegetative state from the USA to Brazil in an adapted motorhome. The route from Orlando to Juiz de Fora must cross the Darién Gap, a dangerous jungle region between Colombia and Panama lacking roads. Due to international safety regulations prohibiting the transport of people in sealed containers, the motorhome will be shipped separately for this segment, requiring complex medical and logistical planning for the patient.
