With a salary of 1300 euros, he cannot afford rent, which averages 700 euros in Spain and reaches 1200 euros in Madrid and Barcelona. He runs a TikTok blog about living in two square meters and saving on utility bills.
Another Spaniard, Pablo, lives in a motorhome in Switzerland, working as a waiter 42.5 hours a week. He cites having two days off as an advantage of this lifestyle. According to Spain's foreign ministry, about 142,745 Spanish citizens live in Switzerland.
