On French highways, particularly the VINCI Autoroutes network, a toll transponder for motorhomes automatically applies the class 2 rate, simplifying payment and reducing the risk of misclassification. Class 2 covers most standard motorhomes between 2 and 3 meters in height and with a gross vehicle weight up to 3.5 tons. To accurately estimate toll costs, free simulators such as VINCI Autoroutes and Mappy are recommended, along with checking the displayed class before payment.
