The city of Yeongju in North Gyeongsang Province (Kyeongbuk) has become a popular camping destination in early summer. Authorities report an increase in tourists choosing camping and outdoor activities. Key sites include the Yeougul (also Yeou-gol) glamping site with 12 cabins, the Yeongjuho (also Yeongju-ho, Yeongjuho) auto-camping site with 127 pitches and 15 caravans, and the Sobaeksan Byeolbit (also Sobaeksan Pyeolbit, Sobaeksan-byeolbit) camping site with 16 pitches.
All sites are located at the foot of the Sobaeksan Mountains, near reservoirs and hiking trails. Facilities include showers, restrooms, BBQ areas, and children's zones. Some sources mention additional amenities: 5 cabin houses (one source says 5 cabins, another says 8 animal-shaped caravans) and water activities. Waterfalls and playgrounds are nearby.
