Go RVing has released a list of six RV destinations for October Halloween-themed trips. The list includes Salem, Massachusetts; Sleepy Hollow, New York; Savannah, Georgia; Estes Park, Colorado; Astoria, Oregon; and Galena, Illinois. Recommended campgrounds are Winter Island Park, Croton Point Park, Skidaway Island State Park, Manor RV Park, Fort Stevens State Park, and Palace Campground. Palace Campground closes on October 18. RVers are advised to check campground opening dates, verify RV length and hookup requirements, and monitor weather and road conditions, as mountain destinations may experience freezing temperatures or snow in October.
