Sinan County and the Art Island Foundation are running a pilot programme called 2026 Sinan Island Car from 31 March to 28 December, renting camper vans for travel and overnight stays on the islands. Users collect the vehicle near Mokpo Station, tour the county's islands and return it to the same location. The vans are equipped with a camping table and cooking utensils. A 10–30% discount on KTX high-speed rail tickets is offered on weekdays. Bookings can be made online or by phone. The county expects the scheme to extend visitor stays and boost local spending, and will use pilot data to decide on a permanent service next year.
