DEKRA recommends technical check for motorhomes and caravans after winter storage

On the evening of June 6, a motorhome overturned on the A8 motorway between Anger and Neukirchen. The accident was caused by a tire blowout, causing the vehicle to hit the guardrail and tip over. Three people sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital. Traffic was completely blocked, resulting in a queue of over five kilometers; damage is estimated at €30,000.

German manufacturer Westfalia, known for converting Volkswagen Combis since 1952, has unveiled the new Nansen model. The camper van is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis and will be produced in France, at the Niort plant (Rapido group).
