Spanish pensioners Maribel and Vicente from Mallorca have been living in a motorhome for five years, traveling across Europe. The move allowed them to cut monthly expenses by 1400 euros compared to living in an apartment. They gave up rent, utilities, and a car, saving 400 euros per month on loan and insurance.
The couple sticks to a budget of 2000 euros per month, of which up to 700 euros goes to diesel, and 150–200 euros is set aside for repairs. According to sources, the move also improved Maribel's health thanks to the dry climate.
