Motorhome preparation: vinegar for limescale, bleach for mold

Motorhome and caravan tourism in Spain remains strong despite rising fuel prices. According to ASEICAR, over 100,000 such vehicles with 300,000 travelers will be on the roads during Easter. The average trip distance has decreased from 600–800 km to 200–400 km, with 90% of rental vehicles booked in advance. The association highlights the need to increase dedicated motorhome parking areas from the current 1,500 to 3,500.

Bridgestone has introduced its first tire for motorhomes, the Duravis Camper All Season. The CP-marked tire will be available in four sizes for 15- and 16-inch rims starting June 2026. It is designed for all-season use, features a reinforced carcass for heavy loads, and carries A ratings for wet grip and noise, along with a B rating for rolling resistance.

The Ministry of Mobility of Asturias has tendered works to create a motorhome parking area in San Esteban. The 150,501 euro project involves developing an 850-square-meter plot that is currently unpaved. Companies have until April 17 to submit their bids.

The Cantabrian government has opened a public consultation on an application to create a motorhome area on rural land in Gerra. The administrative file is available for review for 15 days via an online portal or at the Urban Planning Directorate in Santander. The project involves three plots of land in the Gerra Mayor area.
