Police in the Euskirchen district are organising two free weighing campaigns for caravans and motorhomes ahead of the holiday season. The events are informational and preventive; exceeding the permitted weight will not result in fines.

Dates and locations

  • March 28, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Mühlenparkplatz car park in Mechernich (B266). Vehicle documents are required.
  • June 7, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Schleiden-Herhahn industrial area.

Although no fines are issued during the campaigns, police will generally step up checks on tourist vehicles.
