Mettmann police offer free weighing of motorhomes and caravans before Easter

The Am Hoschenhof campsite in Neukirchen-Vluyn/Rheurdt will be completely dissolved. Instead of the expected new development plan, residents were informed that the site has no future. The exact eviction date has not yet been announced.

A fire alarm in Irsingen on Wednesday evening triggered a large-scale response from multiple fire departments. The cause is suspected to be a technical defect; damage assessment is ongoing.

During a border check in Freilassing, police stopped a camper van with an unusual load. The driver lacked import certificates required under the internal market animal health regulations. The guinea pigs were taken to a shelter, and the driver faces a fine.
