The idea came after a disappointing rental during the RAGBRAI bike tour in July 2023. They invested in seven Class C motorhomes for $782,000, naming each after one of their children. The business launched in February 2024 and was fully booked in its first week. Despite early challenges, including $16,000 in frost damage, the couple expects annual revenue of $150,000–$175,000, with tax benefits as an additional advantage.
