A family of three travelled from Yamanashi to Fukuoka with overnight stays in their vehicle starting 28 December 2025 to visit a relative. For winter car camping they purchased only an electric blanket. The route passed through Hyogo, Hiroshima and Yamaguchi; in Hiroshima they visited Itsukushima Shrine, and in Yamaguchi they stayed at the Michishio roadside station with hot springs.
