A family with children aged 4 and 1 took an unplanned overnight car trip to Ise. They used a converted Toyota HiAce (FLEX Renoca) equipped with a hammock and sleeping area. They stayed overnight at a free parking lot in Ise and visited Meoto Iwa rocks, Ise Sea Paradise aquarium, and Ise Jingu shrines (Geku and Naiku). The main advantages cited were flexibility for children's health and weather, and no hotel costs. The main drawback was that the father did all the driving.
