Maribel and Vicente, a retired Spanish couple, have been living in a 7.5-metre motorhome for over five years. They left their apartment in Mallorca and say they save around €1,200 per month by eliminating rent, utility bills and car costs. Solar panels and batteries provide full electrical autonomy, while fuel expenses are capped at €500–700 per month. The couple states they do not intend to return to living in a city apartment.
