Maribel and Vicente, retirees from Mallorca, sold their apartment and car five years ago and moved into a motorhome. According to them, giving up traditional housing saves about 1,000–1,200 euros per month. Their monthly budget is around 2,000 euros from two pensions, of which 500–600 euros goes to fuel and 150–200 euros is set aside for emergencies.
