The São Paulo State Tourism Secretariat (Setur-SP) has released a selection of routes, attractions, and infrastructure for motorhome travelers. The list includes North Coast beaches (Ubatuba, São Sebastião, Guarujá, Cananéia, Ilhabela, Caraguatatuba, Bertioga), inland cities, and locations near rivers and reservoirs. The Brazilian recreational vehicle market is growing 6–11% annually, with a turnover of approximately R$ 1.5 billion in 2023. About 48,000 such vehicles are in circulation nationwide; the IPVA rate in São Paulo is 1.5%.
