From March 20 to 22, Caraguatatuba will host the second gathering of motorhome, caravan and camper owners. The event includes social and environmental actions: food collection for those in need (according to some sources, for a social fund), beach cleanup, and stimulation of local commerce through receipt-based raffles.
The city does not charge such tourists an entry fee, which is part of its policy to regulate caravanning. According to some sources, caravanning has been legalized; according to others, it is regulated by local law. Activities for participant integration are also planned.
