Juanma and Tony, a couple from Spain, left their conventional stressful life nearly four years ago to live full-time in a Peugeot camper van named 'La Leoneta'. They converted the van themselves, spending around €8,000, including €3,000 on a gearbox repair. They highlight savings on utilities (two gas bottles per year) and freedom of movement, noting that quality components like a €850 heater ensure autonomy.
