At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Mercedes presented an all-wheel-drive Sprinter as a base for fully integrated motorhomes. The prototype, developed with Sweden's Kabe, is called Kabe Imperial Ri830 Traq 4x4 and features a Torque-on-Demand system that adapts power to each wheel. It has two berths, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a garage for skis or bikes. An off-road package will be offered later. The Imperial series is Kabe's most luxurious, with a starting price of at least 2.7 million kronor.

Kabe, in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, has introduced a fully integrated motorhome with all-wheel drive. The Crown and Imperial TRAQ 830 LGB and LQB models come standard with rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available as an option for 96,000 kroner. The approved gross weight is 5,500 kg, and the train weight is 7,000 kg. Production is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with the public debut at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.

A man in his 40s has been charged with gross negligence causing bodily harm after accidentally shooting his friend in the thigh during a wild boar hunt in January last year, according to P4 Örebro. The incident occurred in Askersund municipality, Närke, while the two were hunting from their hunting team's caravan. The unsecured firearm was on a table with the muzzle pointed at the friend; the defendant accidentally triggered the trigger, and the bullet passed through the caravan's interior before hitting the friend.
