Tourism along the Vildmarksvägen route is increasing, but Camp Stora Blåsjön's plans for new motorhome pitches have stalled in a shoreline protection dispute. Strömsund Municipality approved the project, but the County Administrative Board rejected it, citing a threat to public access to the shore. A decision is now awaited from the Land and Environment Court, where campsite owner Anders Ottosson points to growing demand from motorhome tourists.
