Residents of Landsberg are actively discussing the story of Wolfgang Vogl, who was forced to leave the parking lot at Waitzinger Wiese after an extended stay. A survey of police stations in Landsberg and Dießen found no significant issues with long-term campers, but finding a place for permanent residence in a motorhome is difficult. At campsites in Pitzling and Utting, all 160 and 165 long-term pitches are occupied, with waiting lists of 15 and 70 people respectively. According to traffic regulations, a stationary inhabited vehicle is not considered a road user, and only one night is allowed to restore driving fitness.
